"Confronting the Past, For the Sake of the Future” A Program of Hope
Performing on Bram's Violin, an instrument left behind by a musician who perished in the Holocaust.
A riveting hour of music, art, poetry, stories, commentary and more shining a light through the lens of the Holocaust on rising xenophobia, threats to democracy, and alternative truth enabled by social media. Featuring Florida contributors to the new book New Voices: Contemporary Writers Confronting the Holocaust. Instead of dealing with the Holocaust as a static historical event, and only a Jewish tragedy, the nonprofit NewVoicesProject advocates a more dynamic approach focusing on the moral lessons of the Holocaust through the arts.
